Canpotex is aware of an increase in fraudulent recruitment and job offers from individuals or organizations posing as Canpotex or using the Canpotex name. These scams may be intended to obtain personal information and/or money from unsuspecting job seekers.
Here are some important tips to distinguish legitimate Canpotex recruitment practices from illegitimate ones:
- Canpotex will never request money from job seekers.
- Canpotex will only recruit for jobs under the name “Canpotex” or “Canpotex Limited”.
- Canpotex does not make early requests for personal information, such as passport information. Passport details are only requested once an offer of employment has been made and is used only to verify candidate’s eligibility to work and to travel.
- We will not request personal information be sent to a non-Canpotex email address. Legitimate emails from Canpotex employees will end in @canpotex.com.
- Our employees will not use free services, such as Gmail or Google Hangout or text messages, during the recruitment process.
- All Canpotex Human Resources employees are located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
